Scientific Anglers SharkSkin Saltwater Taper Fly Line

The high-performance saltwater floating line from Scientific Anglers is now equipped with Sharkskin technology, making it ideal for a variety of applications. Its mid-length head allows for precise casting with medium to fast action rods, both when wading and from a boat. This line features Tropi-Core™ to maintain performance in warm to hot conditions.

The WF taper design of the line includes a longer head for optimal distance and control, with a long front taper for smooth delivery at any range. This line works well for roll casting, mending, and long pickups, behaving similarly to a DT line in close and excelling at distance. The coating of the line features Sharkskin microtextured surface on a specially formulated 3m PVC material, integrated with patented AST-Advanced Shooting Technology. The core is made of braided multifilament for added strength and durability.
